What could be better than Ice Cream, Coffee, Crafts and Gifts?

I always dreamed of owning my own store and it finally came to fruition! I moved to the Crosslake area in 1997 and started working at Lake Country Crafts & Cones where I had my own craft creations consigned.  The previous owners, Mary and Alden Hardwick, started the store in 1984 and were ready to retire.  They asked if I would consider taking over and purchasing the store, so I said “YES”!  I took over October 1st of 1998.  

Since then, many changes have occurred.  We have added on to the store twice, increasing the parking, adding a new kitchen, walk-in freezer and a new seating area.  We are well-known for our generous portions of ice cream and friendly service.  The jelly-bean in the bottom of every cone is a favorite and our sandwiches have become very popular!  People return year after year and Lake Country Crafts & Cones has become a tradition in many families!
